Set up in 1985, much of the experience of the firm is derived from the professional work done by the proprietor Mr. Ranjit P John. Over a period, the firm has considerably enlarged its scope of activities. The aim has been to establish an organization that can carry out large and complex building projects, while maintaining a high level of professional and technical competence.The firm is based on the belief that a multi-disciplinary approach is essential in dealing with problems involving Architectural, interior, urban and regional development. It was felt that the quality of a project is best achieved through continuity of responsibility in one firm, from conception to execution of the project.

The firm is particularly qualified to undertake work in the areas of large and small-scale civic design, institutional, commercial, and industrial buildings, all aspects of urban renewal, large-scale housing, land and site planning, and interior design. The firm has been responsible for various projects of different sizes in several parts of India.

The practice has had several commissions from some long-trusting clients like the Missionaries of Charity, Muthoot Group, YMCA, Caritas India, Frank Anthony Schools, Jesus and Mary College, and the Catholic Archdiocese of Delhi. There have also been restoration projects, ranging from British era churches to institutions and hospitality projects. The firm also has a panel of experts for structural design, MEP, landscape, etc. that they liaise with.

Ranjit P John

Ranjit P. John graduated from the prestigious School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi, with a gold medal for securing the highest marks ever to be scored in the history of the institution. He then worked for two years under Aga Khan award winners, Prof. Ranjit Sabikhi and Prof. Ajoy Choudhury. This was also where he discovered his forte in simple and compact planning executed in vernacular building technology.

In 1985, he started his own practice and have since completed close to 1000 projects, with 30 underway. The large gamut includes townships, institutional, commercial, industrial and religious projects of different scales. The practice has been involved in the design and construction of the largest number of churches in the world, a record which is currently being applied for with the Guinness Books. Mr. John also serves as advisor to several prestigious Institutions.

Joel R Pio John

Joel is a graduate of the Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, and he holds a Masters degree in Architecture and Urban Design from the prestigious Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in New York. Here, he centred his focus on rethinking urban corridors, revitalizing under-utilized sites, while stressing on economic and social regeneration. His past experience in Delhi allowed him exposure to institutional, housing, industrial, and urban planning projects as well as several competition projects

Joshua R Pio John

Joshua graduated from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore. His experience in Bangalore soon after, saw him working with several leading apartment developers in the city. He was also part of the team involved in international competition projects. After completing his Masters degree from the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain, his calling has been towards parametric architecture, and using the latest technologies for research and development of digitally aided designs

Sapnu George-John

Sapnu is a graduate of the Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, and later graduated with honours from the New York School of Interior Design. Her focus has been in the design and development of schools and she now also serves as Director to an International School in Kerala . Her experience in Bangalore included residential and hospitality projects in South India, while in New York she assisted with luxury hotel design at interior design firms of international repute based out of Manhattan.
