Year of Completion / 2005

This school was made for the underprivileged children. The position of the sports grounds was decided by the client beforehand, so the plot available for designing the building block was rectangular, which only allowed for a straight profile for the envelope. The plan constitutes four blocks with four classrooms each, that are connected with bridges, resulting in double height lobby spaces and a central courtyard. The building is treated with the light-toned, naturally available Bhansi-paharpur stone.
