This project was commissioned by St. George’s Education Society, a charitable non-profit Society chaired by MG George Muthoot. The main school building has an imposing architectural style, and the building was designed providing for state-of-the-art facilities. This school has been given a sprawled layout since the site allowed it. The bands of red sandstone running along the Dholpur facade emphasizes the horizontality of the structure. The grand scale of the atrium is thus in keeping with the footprint of the building. The orientation of rooms around the courtyard has been done symmetrically on either side, with a courtyard at the back as well that leads to the playground. The ample amount of open space renders a regal quality to the space as a whole.
